Khalja Ugund
Age: 25 - Occupation: Airship Mechanic
Khalja has quite a unique appearance compared to most aura, his bottom teeth continue to grow and protrude up and out of his mouth. Much like his orcish teeth, he has very distinguishing features that stand out among a crowd of his peers. He has been compared to a Bearded Vulture because of his striking red, white and black color scheme. His tail is unusually long (not shown above) and has incredible strength. Able to unleash a hard hitting blow if needed. His horns twist around his head (not shown above) much like a rams and continuously grows. Because of this Khalja files the horns down and caps the tips with decorative metals to prevent injury.
Khalja is from a small tribe of Ugund who branched away from their traditional society. They have an affinity for the sky and so they spend their entire lives searching for ways to soar. This tribe has strong relationships with the birds they breed and keep. Hawks, Eagles and Vultures are used for hunting, fighting and companionship. As time progressed this tribe began to make amazing aviation advances. They specialize in gliders though some have left the village to pursue more modern machinery.
One of those who left the village behind is Khalja. He left the Steppe in search of knowledge to further advance his interests. He found such knowledge in joining Garland Ironworks where he worked on airships. He was later stationed to assist those in Ishgard with flying around the Sea of Clouds and Diadem. Khalja lives for the skies, if he had it his way he would build an aircraft he could live on and never land.
